Privacy Policy
Video Studio Uploader ("the tool") is a private tool operated by Gal Hadad (WPSite, Israel) to upload his own videos to his own YouTube channel. This policy explains what data the tool accesses, how it is used and stored, and how access can be revoked.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. Use of the tool is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data the tool accesses
- The OAuth access and refresh tokens that Google issues when the channel owner authorizes the tool.
- The ID and name of the authorized channel, to confirm uploads go to the right channel.
- The metadata of the videos the tool itself uploads: video ID, title, description, tags, privacy status and processing status.
The tool does not access comments, subscribers, analytics, other channels, or any data belonging to other YouTube users.
How the data is used
The data is used only to upload videos, set their thumbnails, playlists and captions, and confirm the result. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any other purpose.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens and the OAuth client credentials are stored encrypted in the operator's password manager and are injected into the tool only for the duration of an upload. Video metadata is kept in the operator's private project records. No data is stored on this website, which sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Sharing
No data is sold, shared with, or disclosed to any third party. Data is sent only to Google, through the YouTube API, as part of the uploads themselves.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until access is revoked. Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions (security settings), after which the stored tokens stop working and are deleted. Upon request, any stored data related to an authorized channel is deleted within 7 days.
Changes
Changes to this policy are published on this page with a new effective date.
